The Annual Team Ryder Cup Challenge Match between the Pershore Golf Society and the Crown Kempsey Golf Society was held at Evesham Golf Club on Sunday, The Course was in mint autumn condition supporting true fast greens, with a light breeze and infrequent showers all was set for a for a good competitive game.

Match Play format over the 18 holes always produces a multitude of results with some very early hand shaking, close nail biting finishes and halved matches all adding to this popular event for which Players have to Pre-Qualify gaining points over the Season.

The winners and regaining the Trophy were the Crown resulting in a 8.5 to a 3.5 win.
