PERSHORE GOLF SOCIETY

The Pershore Golf Society Captains Day Fixture found them travelling to Warwickshire to play at the Ingon Manor Golf Club. In a light breezy day found the course in perfect condition with true fast greens.

The Morning warm up was a 3 Club 9 Hole individual competition won by Martin Ford with 20 Points.

The Main Medal event for the day in the form of the Captains Day Trophy supported numerous other prizes on offer which were all keenly contested in the afternoon with the eventual outcome being as follows

Least Putts, Vic Hammond.

Stableford Point, Kevin Lloyd.

Longest Drive, Dave Adams.

Par 3s, Andy Price.

Nearest the Flag, Phil Wilson

Highest Gross, Ken Bradley.

Sartorial Omelette, Kevin Lloyd.

  Medal Positions were in Third Place Kelvin Lewis, Second on Count Back Mark Shale, First Andy Price . Fines for the Captains charity, Pershore Cottage Hospital were duly administered by Tim Kilby and Martin Ford to complete an excellent day out.
